The Six a Side Tournament openned the CCA season 2010/11 on Sunday 27th June 2010. With ten teams competing in two groups of five as follows,
Despite of heavy rains during weekdays, whether has supported game of cricket with a bright sunny day. After a whole day competitive cricket the days play ended with Mombasa Sports Club A and Jaffery Sports Club in final. In final JSC won the toss and elected to field first, Batting first MSC A scored 73 runs in 5 over ( Abdul Latif – 15, Jignesh Hirani – 15, Zaheerabbas Khaku – 13, Thabith Moh’d – 15 and Randeep Birgi – 5) replying to MSC A’s very high score JSC lost their 2 quick wickets in opening 2 over. JSC Captain Aliasgar Jaffer score 15 runs but it was not enough to reach the score of MSC A. JSC only manage to score 43 runs in allocated 5 over to give MSC A biggest victory in tournament. MSC A Batsman, Jignesh Hirani collected Highest Runs Trophy with 45 runs in 3 games and Jaffery Sports Club Player, Abbasali Mwaji Collected Highest Wicket Trophy with 5 Wickets in 4 Game Harrajsingh Sohal was appreciated by CCA and all teams being youngest player of the tournament.Fixture & Result
